From tonight's radio show.

Woodson said Anthony Leal is healthy and has been practicing recently.

Woodson said Newton's knee has been fine, but his hamstring has been an issue.  Woodson said Jakai Newton practiced some yesterday and some today.

Mike Woodson says Kanaan Carlyle hasn't practiced the last two games and will not play on Tuesday. Says he 'hopes' to have him back soon.

Woodson said Gabe Cupps has also struggled with his health recently and hasn't practiced much in the last week.

Thank goodness that unlike last year, we really do have plenty of depth at guard this year.

Interesting observation from Ant.

I’ve been talking about team chemistry from the beginning with Rice. You can clearly see some weird stuff with Ballo and him.  All the bigs not hitting him when he’s open. He gets his on his own but the ball isn’t moving and it seems everyone is out to get theirs.  Lots of shot hunters besides Gallo.  That is why we play better with him on the floor.  I believe Leal would help in this regard.  Everyone else is a shot hunter.

As a plus we don't have to listen to the announcers from the Bahamas tourney....at one point in the first game Carlyle got a foul and one of them said "there is a foul on Anthony Leal"....

'Cause we're a football school!

2 touchdowns isn't that low of a spread...
