Spindler isn’t committed, the registered student stuff wasn’t an accurate sign.  He is still visiting schools.  He seems like a long shot for us though.  That’s okay.

Obviously in reference to Rocco Spindler.......if IU ends up getting him, that's four high quality OL in the portal that have gotten.

I was told we aren't going to pay him what he asked for.  But if nobody else does either, I suppose his asking price could come down.

1 million for OL would be fine with me. Just so much is dependent if a QB or running back have enough time to move or throw.

That was from  back before Coogan committed, soon after Spindler's  Nebraska visit. Jan 28.

As scarce as OL is in CFB right now and with the rev share adding $15M to team payrolls this season, $1M doesn't seem crazy for a 13 game starter on last season's runner-up team.
