I truly understand what you're saying but we have a new coach with a new staff who's going to have to recruit a bunch of players to fill out a roster for next season in a relatively short window.  We're going to have to accept the fact that some of these new kids are going to have warts on their bball resume.

I generally do not understand the angst in adding Enright? You’re potentially needing to fill 13-15 roster spots. How anyone can attribute adding a veteran leader with years of experience in DeVries system as anything but a good thing is beyond me.

If I recall correctly isn't his Assist/TO ratio decent? If he's a sub to give whomever the starting PG will be a breather and he's looked at to be a distributer, I understand it.

I don’t disagree but I don’t see it as a can’t miss.  I have always been big on players that can play both ways.  Despised the Roth pick up for example because he was so god damn slow defensively.

Just think how much better our program would have been if Woody had brought a couple of his players with him to help new players adapt to Woody's system.  Sh!t, I'm sorry, it was a senior moment.

Because he’s not a Big Ten quality guard.  I mean if he’s at the walk-on level of minutes, no complaint from me.  If he’s expecting or we are counting on meaningful minutes from him, it’ll be a struggle.  Big ten isn’t going to call his flops.  I’m glad he hustles.  He doesn’t shoot free throws well, not a quality you want in a point guard.  It’s like people who tried to convince me Cupps would be a good contributor his 1st year here and all B1G as an upper classmen.  I tried to tell those folks as well.

He’s one player lol. He also lead the Big East in assists before getting hurt. Is he a 35+ mpg lead guard? Of course not, have not seen a single person suggest that. Can he play 20-25 mpg surrounded by shot makers and scorers? Yeah, absolutely.
