So i presume that if he has rescheduled he has a date now for that visit?  Do we know when that is?  Did not see the date listed on Rabby's post but if rescheduled that would be good thing

That is fair enough. I imagine you could make a longer list of guys who didn't improve too much though. I don't think it's over-reacting to be concerned about a couple of guards with sub 30% 3p shooting for team that DESPERATELY needs +30% 3p shooting guards.

Otherwise, why not just depend on Trey & Gabe to improve their shooting and problem solved!

I don't want this to devolve into another fire Woodson thread, just will say that there wouldn't be as much dislike of Woodson if he simply showed more humility.  Averaging a 21-13 record for three seasons and making the tournament twice might not be what fans want but it's a hell of lot better than IU had been doing.  Just think if he acted in a more likable manner he would, you know.....be more liked.

Message board crap like this gets posted and everyone accepts it as gospel.  I seriously doubt anyone who actively posts on btb knows exactly.  Somewhere someone says I heard x dollars and then it becomes xx and so on like the kids game of telephone.  I've stopped drinking the Kool Aid.

I heard he got paid four million dollars purple monkey dishwasher.

Breaking news! College basketball players get bet better the longer they play college basketball! More at 10!

Jokes aside, I generally really like AC, but sometimes the attempts to counter the fan base are just cringe inducing to me. You are absolutely right, it is a cherry picked stat and the opposite chart could surely be made. We have every reason to be concerned about the shooting coming in because we have been bad at shooting. Also literally no one on their list was a transfer to IU. Pretty sure any fanbase would have been concerned with Troy, Al, Bates etc. transferring to them off seasons shooting those freshman numbers-- particularly if they were already a team bad at shooting threes.

That is coming from multiple national guys…. Sleepers Media was the most recent….it was basically McNeely’s deal

Multiple national guys quite often are just using information that one national guy posts and use it as gospel.  I'll bet a donut that Sleepers Media has zero first hand knowledge of it.  Putting 'national' in front of your name just means you can make stuff up on a larger scale.  True 'national' insiders don't have just 6000 twitter followers.

Do you talk about nba and mlb player contracts too? When I talk sports I don’t think I’ve ever said don’t get a player bc they cost too much money. Or this player is only coming bc of the money. Kudos to any player getting paid. This is America, let capitalism reign as far as I’m concerned.

If you talk pro sport, you should be talking about value.  They have salary caps and such.  Can't spend too much at one position without affecting other positions.  NIL not so much, until the boosters give up.

His season just ended last night.  Need to wait until next week to see if he even enters the portal and even then he may opt to follow Schertz to St. Louis if the Schertz rumors are correct.

His 1-10 showing last night may have scared some people off

I thought they did an "in home" with him?  What does he have to see campus?  :)

NBA is a soft cap. Owners can choose to just pay a tax and spend as much as they want. MLB teams blow past the salary cap all the time without blinking. Then draft value is a funny thing. Hindsight of course but players are deemed to be good value as first round picks when other players drafted several rounds lower are better pros. So they really aren’t better value and wasted money and picks. Down to poor scouting or terrible group think on players.

I heard his name mentioned on the Hysterics podcast with Rabby the other day, but sign me up for Isaiah Swope. He is from Newburgh (righty next to Evansville). Played at USI and transferred to ISU. Basically played on one leg for most of the season. He easily could have opted out of the NIT. He's an outstanding player and sounds like a hard worker. I'm sure he is a big reason the culture changed at Indiana State.

Heard Rabby talking and it was also related to time with staff.  During an official they get like 3 days but an unofficial visit is just a day.  I am sure he has seen campus but being able to see get a better feel for who the other coaches are, support staff, food, drop ceilings, weight room etc

No.  But I am pretty sure he is heavily LH, as in.. missed a shot at the rim because he refused to use his right hand... that has cause for concern.

I get it, but I'm all in on him. Indiana kid. He might not be a star at IU but no doubt a solid player!
