Transfer Portal w IU Interest

Sure, but do we really need "big dogs" to have a better season than the past two.  I'll give CDD the benefit of doubt and believe he can coach up a bunch of lunch bucket guys to be competitive enough to make the tourney.  We may look more like Purdon't than Duke, that's all.

Purdue has had the PoY in the league for 3 straight years, both of whom Purdue ponied up big money for and would’ve been near the top draws in the portal if they would have went.  They have plenty of topline talent.

When I think of low cost teams with little “star power” in the B1G I would think more like Wisconsin or Northwestern or Nebraska. Wisconsin in particular has done a nice job of getting lower rated and lower cost guys who can produce at the B1G level like Tonje and Klesmit. UW and NW also developed their own recruits too, which we won’t have next year.

So he's going to commit to Auburn since he also left UK without committing? Or does that only apply to IU?

Yes I believe they are out too.

I'm fine to be proven wrong.  But it has not been a very likely thing in transfer commitments.  Usually one the player goes they are gone.

So is his commitment to Kentucky dead as well since he left there without committing?

Absolutely.  It’s the way of the portal. Why would Kentucky be any different.  They may be out of money anyway this year or close to it.

Not true, this cycle especially

Agreed - this is the portal transfer for the Agents - they make business decisions more then 'feelings' - Think if the NBA had one year contracts and incentives.

Last year and the year before was more the wild west mostly but this year it's definitely calculated and driven in a way that is not 20 year old men making the decisions imho. Of course you listen to everyones pitch - why wouldn't you?

I’m on my phone and haven’t had an ad on this site for years by using Firefox.
