If he can hold up guarding the 5 spot in the BIG without picking up a ton of fouls, he has the potential to be a heck of a weapon on offense IMO.

There's a few things that could work to our advantage right now. I'm not saying they will  and certainly aren't suggesting this is a part of a grand scheme but there's going to be another rush of quality players hit the portal. The teams out there loading up right now will have defections when they feel recruited over. Then there's the guys that go to the combine and are told they aren't ready. By then we'll have 9 or 10 players and DD can better explain a role and how a player of that caliber could be a game changer. We might still have access to a large chunk of NIL.

You are correct on offense imo. Defensively he's a liability at the 5. Look at his defensive metrics defending around the bucket. He's our Alex Condon. We need a Chinyelu to go with him. Then the JUCO big off the bench with 3 years of eligibility is pretty exciting.

iu is offering much more than UK as of this morning. Uk may up it but i don't see them matching. Wilkerson was going to visit every school no matter what and iu was in the lead before visits started. we are good.
