Do you think the entire state of Connecticut is a concrete jungle except for Storrs? I assure you Dan Hurley’s home is in a lovely area. Lol

Wasn't saying that, just that Storrs isn't the relevant measure.

Idk, seems like a fair gauge since he works there, doesn’t it? He has a home in CT close to campus and a home in Jersey City where he is from. They spend quite a lot of time in NJ during the offseason. Jersey City IS a concrete jungle (for the most part)… Storrs is not. There is much more in the northeast than “concrete jungles” just like there is much more in Indiana than corn. Lol, rant over, sorry

It's certainly not a concrete jungle...the joke is that there are no stores in Storrs. CT is quite sleepy once you get ENE of Hartford...

This is true… no stores in Storrs always makes me chuckle unreasonably hard.

Wilkerson is today / tmr and conerway is starting Sunday

Trying not to get ahead of myself but Conerway / Wilkerson as a starting backcourt is very cool with me. Enright and hopefully another dynamic guard off the bench works for me. Offense should be really fun. Wonder when we get an answer on Goode? Any idea what’s going on with D2 Freeman?

Wilkerson is a big one. Can kinda turn the tide a bit. Win a coveted recruitment.

Been reported that 8-10 teams will encroach on a 10 million dollar roster. Indiana being one of them.

My guess is we get thrifty and aren’t at the top level. Not sure who is left out there that really demands top dollar.

No point in spending top 10 money to build a top 30-40 roster.

Several teams might have 10 mil..but only a couple roster spots they need spread that money around with....where IU has to spread it around 13 to 15 players.

Yes and no. We need more guys to fill the roster, but other teams still have to pay the rest of the guys on their rosters to retain them. So it's not as if they can just throw $3-4 million each at three guys and call it a day.

If you google Danny Hurley.....he doesnt live in Stoors, CT....he lives in Glastonbury, CT  which is like 40 mins from Stoors, CT

Not belaboring the point because it does not matter where he lives, but go look at Glastonbury CT pics - not a concrete jungle at all, similar to Storrs. 40 mins is a normal commute around here, admittedly not "close to campus" like i said. He's not leaving UConn.

I look forward to DDV building a team that can go toe to toe with good teams. Been too long since we've had that.
