Basically impossible to reach an Elite 8 this year but a Sweet Sixteen is definitely possible.

Personally, I can deal with Indiana women's consistently being a 6 seed or better basically every year and going to some Sweet 16s with a threat of an Elite 8. Get to that consistency and all good. Especially for a program that essentially has zero history.

IU Ladies Basketball currently are sustaining a healthy proud fun accomplished program.  If (and a big if) IU Ladies are healthy….T. Moren and staff are very good at game strategy in tournaments.  Examples:  NIT wins, NC State win, Texas win, South Carolina win in Paradise Jam.  Can IU Ladies click on all cylinders for how many of 6 games?

Couple comments following last night's selection.

Holmes on her health: “I’m feeling a lot better. This past week I’ve been able to get some much-needed rest… I’ve been practicing.” Moren: “It’s been a good week for all of us, especially Mackenzie.”

Holmes says she's feeling a lot better with her knee now than she was this time last season -- she's been able to do everything in practice now, compared to participating in 1-2 practices leading up to the Miami game last year.
