Listening to sports talk radio in Louisville right now and they seem to be enthusiastic for May and say that's the most likely choice at this point. Obviously not over the moon as they would be with Pearl or Drew but they seem cool with it. Called it a "strong hire".

Meanwhile we'll get one of Woodson's friends and continue to wallow. Maybe nepotism will strike again and we'll end up with Isiah Thomas in a GM role, because he did so well as coach and executive.

Yep, the other day when you said he’s putting together a staff for Louisville I automatically got pi$$ed cuz I knew it’s gonna be one I wish we had at IU

And that just drives me crazy. I’d MUCH rather get a staff in here who could strike gold on the ‘25 class to develop and build a program with than to have Woodson think he’s doing good by buying the “best ranked” portal plug ins. Him being lazy about recruiting and just preferring to treat this like an NBA free agency sucks. Let’s just use someone’s money to try and buy players in hopes to cover me up sucking as a college coach. Makes a grown man wanna cry ha. I agree with someone else who said now that Woodson knows people don’t like him, he’s just gonna throw his middle finger in the air and go against what anyone but himself wants to do.

I’ve been an IU fan for most of my life , but I can have room to have Louisville move in to contention as my #1 team.

right now it’s IU then Purdue and looks like Louisville could jump up

I’d MUCH rather get a staff in here who could strike gold on the ‘25 class to develop and build a program with than to have Woodson think he’s doing good by buying the “best ranked” portal plug ins. 2025 and 2026 are most likely dead now given Woodson is a lame duck coach.
