WE

WINNNNNNNNNN!!!!!!!!

At somebody is as enthusiastic as I am for winning a game.  Even though we all know what needs to happen, I am happy we won and I will never root for IU to lose.  Nope, can’t do it

W! However, Woodson’s sub plan lost the lead and about sunk us for the rest of the game. Will he ever learn??

one more thing…..I love Quisty from Broomington hard-wear!

I’m not there I turn volume down as I’m usually on edge with the game then have to listen to that:)

Good win, although it's never good to lose a 15 point lead. We won the rebounding stat and free throws.  Wisconsin won three-point shooting, but only by 2.  Wisconsin won the turnover battle by 9 which is why the game was so close.

Food for thought:  Galloway just put up his second 12 assist game.  He is averaging 4.6 assists per game this year.  For reference, Yogi Ferrell averaged 4.6 assists for his career at IU (and, NO, I'm not implying Galloway is as good as Yogi, LOL, just stating how well he has distributed the ball).

It might not have been that IU needed to pick up a point guard in the portal -- may have been more about picking up a shooting guard.

I'm always happy for a IU victory especially against the Badges.  I don't know why but I would of been OK with a lost.  I really hate saying things like this.  I just know I can't stomach another season like this.  Next year trajectory looks worse than this year with Woody, I need to have some hope going into next year.  To the powers to be get us a coach that can win whoever it might be, I'm tired of feeling like this every 3 to 5 years.

Why we haven't run more Gallo/Ware action like we did JHS/TJD last year, I don't know...

We needed a PG and a 2G (especially a three way 2G) and for Gallo to be the Big Ten 6th man of the year.

I think Galloway is our point guard and if he is going to continue to play X, he needs to continue to come off the bench.  X had 5 or 6 turnovers tonight but I am sure Woodson would say it was rust but between X and Reneau, they both have poor recognition and tend to dribble into crowds.

I need to watch the replay and see if anyone woke up Armond Hill when the fire alarm went off.

You missed my earlier post. Not only did he wake up but when Woody said we needed to stop Wiscy’s momentum Hill pulled the alarm. He finally earned his xxxthousand a year tonight.

I think he pulled it wisconsin was on like a 12-2 at the time.

It will be really interesting to hear who pulled the alarm. IU was able to stem the momentum after that delay. Without question, that alarm was a significant factor in the win.

What a weird box score.

We shot 62% from the field but only won by 4 !!

Wiscy only shot 3 free throws the entire game!

Wiscy had 10 steals to our one (which helps explain them staying close even though we shot 62% and they only had 3 FT’s.)

Wiscy only had 2 TO’s compared to our 12.

IU had 7 blocks to Wiscy’s  zero.

UW shot 22 more shots
