The “compromise” by Dolson to let this go down this way saved us some good cash on the buyout. Lot of litigation today. Make no mistake about it, this was not Woody’s decision to retire.

110% agree.

And just have to note… man, it’s really bad when the HC has burned an NIL collective (goofy as they may be, and are) so badly that they’re willing to publicly torch the team. That’s a seriously awful look. Way worse than the FMW thread quickly approaching 2k pages at this rate lol. And it being an open secret in Greenfield apparently that Mike Woodson is mailing it in and cashing checks — that’s all IUBB is to him in 2024.

When I saw this during the game it just showed me these players have no clue what IU basketball is all about.

In the years past, I wouldn't even take a bathroom break during the game. I'd rather have p*ssed my pants than miss a minute of IU bball. Now, taking a leak is more fun than watching.

Exactly... they spent $6M+ on mercenaries that don't know what IU basketball is supposed to be, to be led by someone who doesn't appear to remember or care what IU basketball is supposed to be so he can ignore recruiting kids who know and want to be a part of what IU basketball is supposed to be.
