I’m just tired of this dude. Get rid of him. It’s a joke!  QB should be ashamed of himself!  Obviously he’s not so F him too!
I give money to IU connect. I direct it all to IUFB.  Not the Woody clown show.  Let our AD do his job and get rid of this mess!  Please!

Even though the king is incredibly arrogant what's the deal with coloring his facial hair. Seems like something an insecure guy would do. Don't know anybody who does that. Just the king.

I’m so freaking sick of this joker. We have so many transfers because he refuses to recruit high schoolers to balance out classes, and then he uses the “newness” as an excuse for his team sucking. Dude is such a joke.

In my humble opinion, you are dead wrong here.

Woodson got a fourth year because Archie got four years. Buckner made that abundantly clear. The moneybags bankrolling the NIL was simply to prop Woodson up and make him fail-proof. But Woodson cannot get out of his own way.

Buckner et al know exactly what they are doing — shaking down the university.

And I, for one, didn't buy into the hype of this season. The talent is one thing, but to paraphrase RMK about Dale Brown... when I see who's sitting on the bench doing the coaching, I have no doubt how it would turn out... this season has turned out to be the crap fest many here thought it would be... ZERO quality wins...

Woodson is NOT the King of Indiana... he's the King of the Cupcakes.

By IU's new standards... Dale Brown was really damn good.

Woodson missed the memo.

The will to win is not nearly as important as the will to prepare to win.Everyone wants to win but not everyone wants to prepare to win. preparing to win is where the determination that you will win, is made. Once the game or test or project is underway, it is too late to prepare to win. The actual game, test or projetc is just the end of a long process of getting ready, in which the outcome was really determined. So if you want to win, you must want to prepare to win. Once you prepare to win, winning is almost anti climatic." - Bobby Knight

How many players did Kelsey need to get to know while having Woody down by 40?

Exactly. I can't believe he fully buys into his own BS. He must thing we're all really gullible.

So, I had the pleasure of going to a home game this year and was seated in the 76-club area.  Very nice by the way.  While there I talked with a former player on many topics.  One being the current coach.  Not good....  He confirmed that he is protected by the Board (Buckner and one or two others) and that if you go against him (Woodson), you are out.  Fife and Matta were in place before Woodson was hired, and he did not like that at all and you see where they ended up.  Looking back, I don' t remember who was in place before whom but I thought Woodson was announced before Fife or Matta so assumed he hired them.  He also confirmed that Dolson had a different path, and it was shot down.  He did not say who that was but said it was a homerun. He mentioned that Dusty May is not off the table once Buckner is out.  Said the buyout is low on purpose.

Other former players are no longer welcome around the team (see Brian Evans comments).  I was really in shock with all he shared with me.  How can the IU program allow this to happen?  How can the boosters allow this.  The program has to be bigger than one or two people.  So sad.

Take it for what it's worth.  Which may not be much lol.

This is so bad. I don’t gamble but if I did, I wouldn’t bet on Indiana Basketball making any return to it past winning ways. Sad.

Glad we have football while it lasts.

Listening to the Evans interview now. Just unreal. Woodson is not just a bad coach just an arrogant @$$ along with quinn and steve Ferguson.. I guess my age group like Evans doesn't matter it's the old school ***** who control iu. No wonder Matta left and fast.

Terrible excuse.  He's been making this excuse forever, and in reality it's just the nature of college basketball.

Thankfully Louisville made him look dumb.

I was doing some thinking about the rest of the year last night.

The more I thought about it, the more I felt like this season really might go completely off the rails.

Thought my bias may be clouding my ideas, so I looked at the NET Rankings and Woody's winning percentage vs. each Quad.

My back of the napkin math: as it stands today - we have 13 Q1 games, 3 Q2 games, 4 Q3 games left.

As it stands today there are 6 games that could be Q1/Q2 (Michigan, Purdue, PSU, OSU) or Q2/Q3 (Rutgers, at Washington).

Woody has a 31% winning pct vs Q1, 64% vs Q2, and 89% vs Q3.

That would be good for 10 more wins. That'd put us at 18-13 overall.

I have a hard time seeing us finishing better than 21-10 absolute best case. 18-13 or worse more likely IMO.

I said it a while  ago but people were really underselling how important getting a quality win and competent performance in the Bahamas was. The B1G is not well regarded this season. 10-10 with zero good non-con wins isn’t getting us in IMO. Then look at the data you’ve provided… Woody has not over performed at any time in this tenure. TJD was a killer, and JHS periodically went unconscious. So expecting 11 or 12+ B1G wins is living in fantasyland.

You had to have noticed that stretch starting with @ PU on 1/31. That is a brutal stretch of games in February. Squint and tell me how many wins you see there with how this team has looked… PSU at home? UW on the road? OSU at home? That stretch looks like 2-8 to me, maybe 3-7. I think you’re right this could get a lot uglier.

Including Minnesota, I can see us winning only 4-5 conference games total this year. MAYBE 8 if things break right.

In my personal projections, after hosting USC, I don't see another win I'm confident about until at Washington.

That'd be 12 straight losses. I think we're rapidly approaching the tipping point of becoming pure suck.
