Hornsby Posted January 31, 2025 Posted January 31, 2025 While everyone is here clutching their pearls about Will Wade, I'll remind everyone that we venerate a guy who did pic related. And throwing a chair isn't even the worst thing Knight did while he was here.Heck I remember when Mike Davis let guys wear headbands people went insane. It lasted one game. Now 500k Galloway wears one every game Sent from my SM-A146U using Tapatalk

Unlike Wade, Brownell's teams have been ranked in the Top 20. Cons of Brownell: Quite a bit older. Cons of Wade: Show cause and known as one of the most corrupt coaches in NCAA history. Cons of Wade: IU is more likely to rehire RMK at this point than hire someone who is completely sleazy and was caught on an FBI wire tap. LOL Can we please stop talking about Will F*cking Wade? Dude is never going to going to be hired by the admin of IU. Stevens is a much more realistic scenario than Wade at this point... OKHOOSIER, thebigweave, Class of '66 Old Fart and 4 others 6 1

Hornsby Posted January 31, 2025 Posted January 31, 2025 Damn. I didn’t realize that Eric Gordon was a drug dealer or a “gangster”. I know that Kelvin Sampson recruited him.He also recruited Pritchard and Derek elston. Two other drug dealers I guess.Sent from my SM-A146U using Tapatalk BleedCubbieBlue 1

You’d have to actually want the IU job to get hired here.

Brad Brownell has had one fluke tournament run in 15 years at a school with literally zero basketball expectations who would have been fired 3 or 4 times over by now if he coached anywhere that gave a damn. The fact that we're talking about Brad Brownell just to spite Will Wade is flat out ludicrous. Oh, let's get more recent why don't we? Clemson is currently ranked 25th. McNeese is unranked. Last season Clemson finished ranked 14th. McNeese was unranked. Yay! Willie Strong-@$$ has a really good won/loss record at McNeese State. And you're picking on guys like McMillan, McCollum, and Schertz that win in low major conferences. Yay! Willie Strong-@$$ had a better than expected record at football school LSU but didn't win any conference titles there or even finish a year in the Top 20. Yes, LSU shared a conference title, but that was the year Wade got fired during the season hahahaha.. Home Jersey, OKHOOSIER and BleedCubbieBlue 3

McNeese is a low major school currently 60th in KenPom. Brad Brownell is the epitome of average. If you don’t want to hire Will Wade because of his past transgressions, totally fine although I disagree with you. But somehow trying to paint a picture that Will Wade and Brad Brownell are on the same tier levels of coaching is the funniest thing I’ve read all day.

Just curious. If you win, the fans will support you. If you lose, they'll complain. It's very simple. If Cignetti starts losing, people will turn on him, especially with his cockniness. People see it as confidence and swagger now. They'll like it a lot less if the football team is 2-9. Such is the life of a coach... go iu bb, Home Jersey and str8baller 3

If he starts off like he was shot out of a cannon, lands high-level players, kills the press conferences, preaches toughness and accountability and has a fun style to watch, fans will be more lenient. If he's like Archie Miller and gets zero roster additions his first 3 months, looks scared every time he's interviewed, doesn't have any kind of clear plan, and his team can't score...well, you get the idea.
