The “compromise” by Dolson to let this go down this way saved us some good cash on the buyout. Lot of litigation today. Make no mistake about it, this was not Woody’s decision to retire.

Unfathomable at the time is correct. Davis' last year we were a 6th seed in the tournament that was ousted in the 2nd round. If Woodson accomplished that, he would think he's top coach in the BIG.
With that said, this is different. Woodson has Buckner backing him which means it's not going to be a foregone conclusion that he is terminated at year's end....it's going to take major cojones from someone if a push for a change is made.
Davis had also lost white early in the season. That was a massive blow. The king lost cupps bench warmer.

Unreal. That 6 million could have been used to hire a new coach. Our boosters are really not very bright. I watch Bryson tucker and compare him to McNeeley. Not even a contest

Yes and they arguably have the best roster on paper but what drags this team down is one thing and one man!

That sounds intriguing!  Right now I would say 3500 minimum but if Stuben and other MW apologists start posting regularly, then it could climb over 5000.

How about a prediction league thread for the exact date that Indiana University formally announces that CMW is to leave and the agreement is formally signed, sealed and done.

It is my opinion that it is critical to have his replacement all but lined up.

Yea.  With the portal we need someone in place asap so they have a shot to save who they want on the current roster and get some xfers in.

Guys, Woodson clearly just needs more in NIL to build his roster. 12m should be enough to beat *checks record* Nebraska.
The all access boosters will pony up.

IU losses by an average of 16 points in the three games that Woodson didn't quit and leave early, where they lost by 27. So Woodson makes this team 11 points better by his mere presence.

All of you that say he doesn't do work clearly don't understand the subtle nuanced impact of Woodson's bench snoring.
