It was a typo. I was just responding to your interesting CV.

If you weren't so combative and emotional, I would trust you to share my extended professional CV. If you found my Indiana fandom cred interesting, my pro resume would blow your mind.

Are we qualifying fandom or the right to have an opinion based on degrees now?

The innate condescension of a question like that is why people have visceral reactions to many of your posts. It’s not just the content or lack thereof, it is the language that creates a perceived chasm between the anonymous plebes online and the “educated” administration.

You’re inferring something that doesn’t exist for obvious reasons.

I do not believe Brad Stevens or Dusty May or Bruce Pearl will be interested in the IU job but I don't think that's really going out on a limb.

Literally last month you were trying to dunk on May for a perceived coaching issue.
You even said he’s not good enough to do the job here.

Now you’re saying he won’t be interested, with the implication that he’s at a better situation currently (one HE turned around in year 1). Which is it dude?

What about a name like Eric Musselman. Offer him the gig, I think he’d have us rolling in year 1

I have not interest nor have I asked for your “pro resume”.

You are correct. We need to ignore her. As my dad used to say consider the source. She just wants the attention. Let's keep it to retiring him and start looking at good options

This is partly my fault today. VPN is down at work, and I have nothing better to do but check the internet for Indiana basketball news. I keep engaging because it's fun, and I'm probably making a bigger mess than needed. You are correct, however.

Did you attend IU? I’m just curious as to when your “fandom” began, as well as your experiences in support of the program. Wasn’t sure if that began before you arrived on campus or if you simply grew up as an IU fan and have supported them in that way. I think you gave me your answer buy I wasn’t asking in an effort to “dox” you. We’re just discussing the basketball program on an Internet forum, not solving the problems of the world, so no ill-intent exists.

I never attended IU Bloomington but have been a fan for over 50 years. Just because you went to IU doesn't make you a bigger fan than people who have been a fan their whole life. I really don't care what an out of state person who graduated from IU but didn't know IU basketball before they attended college.

By the way my daughter graduated IU in 2020 and I graduated IU East in 1995

Lol. It wasn’t debunked, though I distinctly remember debunking the notion that we were hiring Stevens.

You don’t have any inside information or more knowledge about the program than the average fan on here.
Maybe if I repeat this three times, you’ll finally vanish. Like a reverse Beetlejuice!

Agree wholeheartedly.

I'm reviewing the situation

Can a person be a Hoosier fan through thick and thin?

The trials and tribulations

I think I have to find another college team that wins.

A team that shares the ball

The team refuse to fall

A team that is paid to be

A semi-pro T?

A misery they will make of me

I think I need to think it out again...

(Apologies to Reviewing the Situation - Oliver, the musical.)

Who would you get to take the interim position?

Dan Dakich, Calbert, Todd Leary, Jim Coyle, Pat Knight, Romeo Langford, Tim Priller, Jordan Hulls son, Tom Crean, Tom Crean's son, Cig, Cig's DC, Teri Moren, Troy Williams, Collin Hartman, JBJ, JBJ's dad, Grant Geleon, myself, AZ Hoosier, Jim Irsay, a current player. Anyone essentially

Uh no.

Fans who can't control their emotions lie solely on the individual.

Are you serious right now?

Ah, look who's back.  Reading is a skill.  Fan displeasure, i.e.; boos, at games is a part of sports.  The administration is responsible if they keep Mediocre Mike around to experience it.

I can understand why so many people are infuriated by the current status of the program, but the implication from several posters is that violence could result if IU doesn’t terminate Woodson, and that’s disturbing on several levels, to say the least. Perhaps it’s just modern day fandom, but I’ve never associated it with our fans previously.

How many times in the last few years have we seen violence happen at youth sporting events towards coaches, refs and fans. If you don't think that happens a lot then you aren't paying attention

They aren’t “my guys” any more than they’re “your guys”. But I do understand the visceral reactions here. We haven’t had an elite program for several decades, and that’s due to a bunch of people in positions of leadership who were each convinced they knew what they were doing. Way too many cooks who can’t and couldn’t boil water.

Well we have been told Woody is cooking...so there lies the problem.  Apparently not one of them can boil water FML! (regards to only my Hoosier BBALL life that is).  Can any of them boil an egg?

Nonsense. People who do stupid things are responsible for their stupid actions.

I'd like to throw my hat in the ring.  Coached 5yo's through HS for the past 15 years.  I've got some old school in me and some Dakich-like toughness but have a new age softness around the edges.  (A perfect mixture i'd conjecture. haha)

For 3 million a year i'd live and breathe the job.  I've got a keen basketball eye and can spot good and bad basketball in an instance.  I'm a solution based individual and I think KathywithaC should toss my hat in the ring as potential interim candidate that would kick some arse.
