It’s a post explaining market worth.  On his own merits without help from a powerful friend, the market decided he was an NBA assistant level coach.

The "coach" is getting over $4M/year to do a job that he's not qualified for... he's failed at every turn, and is deserving of criticism... as are those who, after 3+ years of this, are still trying to defend Woodson and his ways.

At this point, it’s not his market value. He would be lucky to get a job as an assistant after this year. Of course, he will probably just retire.

I wanted him gone after last season and he hasn't done anything this year to show us that he can turn this program around. If you are happy with a mediocre program and coach more power to you but I am tired of just being another program. Maybe I got spoiled early in my life seeing IU win big ten championships and 3 national championships by the time I was 17. I just expect way more than hoping to make the tournament going into the last few weeks of the season

I’m looking at the jobs he had.  After his stint as an NBA head coach (he was fired), he was an NBA assistant.  He kept interviewing for NBA head coaching jobs, but he didn’t get any of them.  He was stuck as an NBA assistant.

You mean how much Buckner was willing to pay him. It is obvious if it were up to Dolson that Woodson would have never been hired as the coach. Also why didn't Woodson ever get another HC in the NBA if he was such a great coach.

No other college in the country would have paid Mike Woodson $4.5 million to coach their program. 

The “market”, is his Alma Mater where his best buddy and a couple deep pockets were able to get him the job. Plain and simple. Mike Woodson just isn’t a good college coach, and the market will soon show that if he’s let go and doesn’t retire.
