(I dont believe for a second he leaves his role as the GM of the defending national champion Boston Celtics to coach IU)

But the weeks of Stevens to IU rumors was the most fun I had on IU message boards in the last 15 years.

"At some point." So when he was at Butler? That would make sense. Now or in the recent past? That wouldn't make sense.

IIRC, there was a rumor he was on a jet to Bloomington and then we announced Crean.  Those were the days.
