Details on Cignetti's contract.

6 years/$27m guaranteed. Heavily incentives. Buyout drops by 3 mil each year on Dec 1, it'd be 20m for 2024.

Maybe Dolson learned a little from Allen’s agent taking behind the woodshed.

indystar dot com dot slash

No further explanations :)

Curious what that does. I tried it and got past first firewall and yet when I clicked on the story header it took me the subscribe page

Did you try it on the actual story or just the homepage? If the latter, copy and paste the story link then add the extra dot.

Well I just went to my browser and typed in the info you suggested. Did not necessarily work but following your second suggestion I clicked on the link above and this time the story was not blocked.  So maybe the first messed up approach cleared my cache somehow

Interesting I didn’t see the word adidas anywhere… could this mean we’re switching up our sponsorship?

My understanding is both the Adidas and Coke contracts will be negotiated soon, including looking at other vendors.  I suspect a full RFP for both.  Similar to what happened with the book store recently and the move from Barnes & Noble to Follet.

Nike and Pepsi. I guess throw in Dr. Pepper as well since Pepsi distributes it in this area.

I can for sure say the Coke deal is done. My brother has negotiated with IU for Pepsi the last two times. Pepsi offered more money over 4 years but Coke offered more money upfront. They went with Coke both times. This last time they told Pepsi they were staying with Coke before even hearing Pepsi's offer. Then after hearing it, still said they were staying with Coke. Said they were going to do the same with Adidas.

Curious, as a result of your brother, are you a Pepsi guy?

That is just business malpractice. In what works has Adidas been a positive for Indiana sports?

I am not, my family has always been Coke. The only Pepsi I will drink is Mountain Dew. His own family still orders Coke, but he has been at Pepsi for the last 25 years of working there.

Not even listening to new deals before making up their minds? Bad business.

Pepsi > Coke.

Is there is pop that sells more than Mountain Dew? I'd assume it's only Coca-cola or Pepsi or Diet Coke. Mountain would murder at games.
