If we can get Cignetti I'd be curious what coordinators and coaches he brings in. I think JMU offense was run oriented but if it works it works.

It’s a passing offense.  His OC is Mike Shanahan.  I’m assuming he’s the son of the NFL coach but don’t know for sure.

He'll have a decent pool to choose from. He's an OG member of Saban's Bama crew, coached both Philip Rivers and Russell Wilson at NC State and is well respected among the coaching community. I'm betting Mike Shanahan joins him for sure. Ball St. grad and 2012 IUFB coach Bryant Haines will probably join him as well. Both have been with him since IUP.

Normally I wouldn't give this much if anything but..... kind of seems relevant here.

If it was just the portal guys, it could just be him keeping up with the talent in the transfer market....but Tayven was on there and he's not in the portal

Can we at least get rid of our leftover assistants completely? Brandon Shelby has been with IU for how long? And our DBs have been baaaaaad, yet he still keeps his job(not sure why that one gets a pass from everyone). New OC, new DC, new position coaches. IU needs a FRESH start. Can't keep around a bunch of loser coaches from the past culture.

I would try to keep the o-line coach.

For anyone tracking flights. Ya ain't gonna find anything worthwhile. They know fans are trying to track them. They will find a way to keep that a secret as well.

But flight tracking is half the fun!

(seriously though if Pfau's plane flying to Harrisonburg and Cignetti is following IUFB guys thats a ton of smoke)

Pat Kuntz former Roncalli and ND standout is JMU’s DL coach as well. Kuntz coached at IU under Allen for a few years previously.

The only reason anyone was left was because we hired from within. Assistants get retained like 0.1% of the time. This isn’t something to fret over.
