So what else could Tayven be referring to on huge pick up? Would he actually just troll the fans?

Idk but local media is probably going crazy right now trying to figure it out.

If Gruden were the next HC at IU… I wonder if local reporters would get news first or ESPN/FOX. Would kids want to work hard? Gruden will have tough practices. I think he could develop a solid QB year in and year out. Personally he knows QBs at an insane level and he used to constantly study film on QBs

C'mon man there's a whole laundry list of programs that proves you wrong. It just takes one great coach to completely change our fortunes.

Indiana isn't a destination job.  Where you going to find this "great" coach?  How you going to keep him if he is successful?  Indiana is going to either hire a coach on the way down, or a young coach that has yet to prove his ability in a power 5 conference.  This isn't a new problem.  IU has been trying to successfully turn things around for a hundred years.  What make you thing we are going to get it right this time?

I know that IU can win.  Attended IU from 65 to 69 and made the trip to the Rose Bowl.  Was it sustainable?  No.  And before you knew it John Pont was off to Northwestern and IU was back to being the worst brand in NCAA football.

He has an incredibly, elite level football IQ. I am ok with IU giving him a second chance. I’m very interested in this smoke….

Truth. His one tweet used BS 3 times. In one tweet. By a spokesman of Indiana athletics.

Which leads me to believe gruden is not a candidate. I won't believe it until a credible source backs it up. This always happens. No clue what tayven is talking about or trying to pull. I doubt he would find out who the coach is before the media imo

They use to say the same thing about Wisconsin until they hired Alveraz

"Indiana isn't a destination job." - I'm aware of that....

"Where you going to find this "great" coach?" -  No idea. Luckily I'm not the one that has to find him.

My point is, there's a bunch of programs out there who used to be as bad of a program as we are, but found a great coach and found a way to keep them. Wisconsin was every bit as bad as we were...until Barry Alvarez. Kansas St. came close to moving down because their football program was so bad...until Bill Snyder. Now, both of those are destination jobs. It can be done.

OK — so are we now gonna proceed to go off the rails with Gruden for the next few hours like we did with Billy Donovan and Brad Stevens?

Look I hear you, but TJD wasn’t posting pictures of Stevens on his IG story before Woody was hired either lol.
