Pagoda Posted June 5 Posted June 5 Holy moly, IUFB/Cig as the focus for College Football '27 with Cig narrating the state of the whole sport for two minutes??!! For me, this is the coolest post-title thing yet. And what a commercial for IUFB! Absolutely nuts. All these big CFB programs want to win so, so badly and will do all they can to try to... all second fiddle to IUFB and Cig at the moment. They got a few little clips here and there is his promo video, but the whole darn thing was about IU! Hollywood Mike Miranda, BannerVille and jermhoosierfan 3 Quote

I didn't think I would ever see a day that IU would be prominent on a College Football video game! This might be the coolest part of winning the Natty yet. go iu bb 1 Quote

I couldn't find the buyout numbers but both of their salaries are numbers that can be persuasive enough to entice them to sit at the table, in my opinion. And I would think both of them would like the chance to coach Big Ten football. The Dude abides. American HoosierX and BannerVille 2 Quote

No lie when CFB25 came out I immediately started a dynasty with IU with the intent of a 10 year rebuild and maybe winning a championship sometime past year 5. I ended up winning in year 2 and at the time it seemed so unrealistic to take IUFB to that level so quickly. I got bored and didn't really play the game much after that. Turns out it was spot on foreshadowing of what was about to happen in real life. Still so unreal we are college football champions. BannerVille, Lebowski and jermhoosierfan 3 Quote

Hurryin' Hoosiers Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago 16 hours ago, Brass Cannon said: That list is terrible other than getting #1 right What's so terrible about it? Cignetti is hard to argue against given that he took over a bad team and won a championship. Coaches that walked into a top program and have maintained are harder to judge because it is hard to say how much of their success is due to coaching and how much is due to almost always having a talent advantage. I don't follow other teams enough to say how good the list is overall. It includes the coaches that are often seen in other lists of top coaches. Quote
