I’m cool with locking it if that’s ok. No need to add salt to the wound.

I don't believe there is any reason to lock it at this time. No one has gotten out of line (yet)...

Also, just because he may be going to UCONN or he does commit to them, that does not warrant locking a thread.

We just have too much talent that could return and that scared him off.

We didn't really want him, the coaching staff must have backed off.

He's not that good anyways, very overrated.

He might be a good shooter, but how is his entry pass? Probably not up to snuff for IU.

UConn obviously cheated. Paying players is allowed now but they must have cheated some other way.

He didn't want to play in the B1G.

Oh… It’s like Jeopardy!

The question is “things practically nobody has said on this message board.”

Now, if you’d listed “wants to play for the two time defending national champions“ that would have some traction.

They haven't been said about him yet, no, but most of these are pretty standard excuses that always seem to come out after missing on a recruit. Just getting a head start on the excuse making.

Post them to IU Twitter/X. They'll fit in better there.

Who knows. Maybe he won’t get the playing time he expects next year and we get him for 1/2 price the following year…LOL

Nah, I wouldn't ever take back a local kid that chose somewhere else and then wanted to come back because the grass wasn't greener over there.  If you were local and actively being recruited by our program and chose somewhere else, best luck in life to you.

Given the recruiting struggles of our staff, not sure they'd be in a position to turn down a local 5 star that wanted to come home. And let's be real, anyone who's serious about winning wouldn't, either.

UConn will take a step back this year but this recruiting class will definitely get them back on track. At some point Luke Murray and Kamani Young will get jobs somewhere else and Dan will be mortal again.
