This is copium unfortunately :/

Copium would be saying:

-He is overrated.

-He wouldn't fit the system.

-We don't want him if he doesn't want Indiana.

The truth is exactly what I implied. Which fan base will value the Indiana star more, Uconn or Indiana? That answer is painfully obvious. From the minute he gets to campus to the end of his career, he could be state royalty. Not so much at UConn where he's just another 5 star to that crowd.

I think UConn appreciates and glorifies any player who helps them win a championship, regardless of where they’re from. Sure more people in Indiana would be excited about him at IU… doesn’t mean he’s gonna be “just another basketball player” at UConn, if he is successful. 5 stars get the king treatment everywhere. Agree he is passing on a unique opportunity to be an Indiana legend though

Right, because IU fans and media are always super focused on the 5* players we get. Like all the talk about Tucker. Oh, wait.

It is.

That’s who Braylon Mullins was named after.

If you don't change the thread title to 'Snillum Nolyarb to UConn' after the announcement I'm going to be upset. That would be the real travesty in all this.
