Thinking the option is intriguing, but his motor will initially frustrate the living hell out of our fans. There will be so so much venting about why he cannot do the things he is capable of doing talent-wise.

By the end of his first year at IU could be a home run though.

And Show him Bidunga tape to motivate him if Sparks can’t.  Ware might think he’s Myles Turner and maybe he could be.  Maybe Altmann thought otherwise.  Lol

You aren't a fan of this on first glance?

I’m not, but not because I don’t think it could work. Talent like his doesn’t grow on trees. But in the couple of Oregon games I watched there were some things. He shies from contact. He gave up post position on both ends without a fight. Against Arizona, Ballo just planted him under the rim a couple of times like he was a manager in practice. The other thing is he doesn’t look like he likes to be coached hard. Can’t remember the game, but Altman got into Ware pretty good and he flat disengaged. To the point that Altman sat him the rest of the game. Obviously there could be way more to that, but he gives me Xavier Booker vibes. But I trust Woody and if he thinks he can maximize him, the kid’s a Pro.

I haven't found it that closely but don't they have somebody coming back and a 5-start coming in that could make them a lot less attractive?

Possibly, however, Ware is from Little Rock so that is why I was assuming

I must be drinking at work, I don't remember posting a video for Ware but I like what I see.

Threw in an edit (mod privilege, baby!) with 247 link and portal highlights to match the other recruit threads.

I don't think theres anyway Ware was ready to guard someone like Ballo. Ballo is also, almost 3 years older. I think if we had Malik and Ware starting... and played someone like Purdue, Malik would be the primary defender on Edey and Ware would be the doubler/weak side help.. and then rotate back out of that.

I was shocked to see how well he could contest shots on the 3pt line, though.

Ok it's a good day to get the visits for Ware and my boy Dalton on the books.

Generally not big on highlights but that makes me want Ware more.  Some things there we didn't see from Davis as good as he was.

Yeah, Ballo’s a man. He can do that to most guys. But what bothered me is that he wasn’t getting out-levered, he was just giving it up. And, you’re right, his movement on the perimeter is borderline Evan Mobley. You can’t teach that stuff.

I didn't watch.. so I obviously can't say...

One other thing about Ballo... He has been on a college campus since 2019. I guess he was 17 when he got to college? Either way, he just light years ahead of Ware in the weight room.

As in, he's taking an unofficial visit or he's unofficially taking an official just not announced?

The Daily Hoosier is reporting he's likely (not for sure) going to be in Bloomington as soon as this weekend, but that it hasn't been announced yet.
