I prayed to the Basketball Gods before this evening and all I asked for was anyone but Alabama or Houston.

Next level athleticism in the games tonight. The first game was full of ugly offensive basketball but when you play with that kind of disruptive Intensity and athleticism on defense you always have a shot. 

Miami just putting on clinics after looking marginal and almost dropping the game against Drake.

I hated that we were in the same bracket because I had Miami as my dark horse to make a run. I'm rarely right, so of course the one time I can say I was right I also hate it.

I picked the Zags this year mostly because there  was no dominant team and with a coach like Few and a player like Timme they have been close before it’s only a matter of time for that program.   Creighton on the other side of the bracket was supposed to be a threat to win it all early and had a bad stretch without all their players.   Should be a fun end to the tourney
