Leaving:

Charles Campbell - K

At IUFB he kicks field goals.

He wants to go where he can kick 'winning field goals'.

If/when Dasan McCullough hits the portal we can officially send the thing to the junkyard and call it a totaled vehicle.

I have an uneducated but strong feeling that Dasan won’t leave. Something about him sticking with us even when dad left, giving him plenty of time to find a new school. Dad knew what was probably coming this year too. We shall see.

If he does leave, (and let’s be clear, he probably should) then this things snowballs fast.

I see the logic, but not sure I agree with your first point.

Definitely agree with your second point.

IU football had it…. just a few short years ago in IU football program K. Deboer, K. Womack, M. Penix, P. Ramsey that were good football coaches and players that accounted for some success among a few others.  Ok all are gone.  So IU needed to keep what they had (decision making needed to be able to make that happen).  It’s not seen nor happened so now IU football quickly once again is a mess…I do like the new offensive line coach better.  Even the kicker is going to leave.  Next year will be more of the same except may win even less games in 2023. That’s one hell of a lot of money per win and never solid domination in the physical and skill level even against mid majors.

Ohio State loses to Michigan and fans grumble about Day.

Wisconsin gets them a new coach (and a good one)

IU coach recruits a qb (McCulley a mid major at qb) changes to receiver and mid major at that as well.  IU coach is evaluating C.B. and a Dexter Williams injury and other options in off season including recruiting for 2023.  IU football moves at a turtle pace while the rest of the league scores a season’s worth of TD’s.  Just nothing happening and boring.

Shivers transferring -- to the NFL.

The few draft projections I've seen have him going very late in the draft -- or not at all.

Wasn’t he out of eligibility anyway?

Has anybody seen any word on Dexter's injury?

Obviously, he doesn't have any games left this season to prepare for -- just wondering if he'll be healthy by spring.

I’d be pretty surprised if he’s available for spring ball whether it was a break or a tear. Only about 4 months until it opens up which would be tough with either type of injury.
