My strong indaction from various sources is the McNeeley family wants him to be on a Nationally relevant team all season.  If McNeeley commits early or first he must have a lot of faith our staff will put together a roster capable of that.  Something to keep an eye on.

Good players want to play with good players too, so having a player like McNeeley on board could entice others to join him.  The staff does have to close the deal but it'd give them something to sell.

Let's get him in the fold and work on Queen etc.

I don’t know 100% that McNeeley is coming (like 99.9999999999999999%), but the pre-meltdown rationalizing on the Kansas board is hilarious.

Got to think Liam is the first domino to fall.  If that happens, and hopefully sooner rather than later it allows the staff to sell what they are trying to build to Fland, Queen and others.  Got to think Liam helps lure Fland, Queen and others.

Unbelievable amount of arrogance - I’m sure he was singing Liam’s praises up until he finds out he’s likely going to IU. Then (in his eyes) he says not a good fit, not athletic enough, etc . . .

I don’t know if recruits ever read message boards, but that would piss me off if I’m Liam.
