I feel an obligation to mention that the hand-wringing about turnovers is a joke to highlight how excited IU fans are about Cupps’ ability to make things happen without turning it over, lest someone get confused

If you guys get a chance, the Hoosier Hysterics podcast did an extended interview with Gabe Cupps.

If you haven’t understood why he is such a great addition, you should listen to this. It’s hard to believe he is 16/17 years old. Incredibly mature AND incredibly likable and easy to relate to. He’s gonna be a great teammate.

And, he’s said he is very actively recruiting.

The future is bright.

Centerville with a 51-31 win over Fairmont.  Cupps 5 pts. on 2-7 FG; 1-1 on 3s; 0 FT; 4 reb; 8 asst; 2 stl; 1 blk; 3 TO.  Centerville had a 31-17 lead at the half but Fairmont played an inspired 3rd Q and cut it to 37-29 after 3.  4th Q was  all Centerville as they  outscored Fairmont 14-2.

Centerville keeps on  rollin' with a 94-59 win over Springboro.  Cupps 18 pts. on 7-12 FG; 4-8 on 3s; 0-2 FT; 1 reb; 7 asst; 1 stl; 0 blk; 1 TO. 

In tonight's game, Cupps scored his 1,000 point tonight in the 2nd quarter. Gabe is the fourth ever 1,000 points score in school history.  He is also now the leading all time assist leader in school history with 333 and still has his senior season to play.

As a team, Centerville hit 17 3s tonight.
