Class of '66 Old Fart Posted March 19, 2021 Posted March 19, 2021 Fred Glass blew nothing but smoke at us when he told us who he was looking for in a coach. Dolson isn't going to do that. Here's what he said he was looking for: What’s important to us is that it’s a style of play that recruits want to play in and that recruits see that they can see themselves in, but then also is really on the cutting edge of where is basketball going, where is college basketball going, and as you can see, basketball is different than it was three years ago, four years ago, six years ago in terms of how it fits into the NBA and moving on and playing professionally. madmax Posted March 19, 2021 Posted March 19, 2021 Personally I could care less about style. I care about winning. Chris Beard's style hasn't seemed to matter to recruits.. He pulled the 11th ranked class last year. Even beat Archie for a recruit in Jahmius Ramsey T White and Indiana8585 2

Glass said one thing and then did something else. I don't think Dolson does that. Indiana8585 Posted March 19, 2021 Posted March 19, 2021 (edited) He’s made the tourney 3/4 times it’s been played since going there and made the EE 8 the year prior to going to the title game. So far he’s 3-0 in the first round of the tourney. Also won the regular season conference title in 18-19 which may have been the one that ended Kansas streak. Edited March 19, 2021 by Indiana8585

I guess I would because I’m desperate but I agree is it worth it?
