Dolson hired Woody.  He better get this one right or he's done in my eyes

To be fair, it shouldn’t be all that difficult to top the last two hires. Dolson would almost have to purposely bunk this one to be a continuation of the last eight seasons.

I’m not ignoring football, but he’s not hiring a football coach. Everything basketball-related has been a disaster during his tenure. He’s got good PR with the “I wasn’t allowed to do my job” stuff, but at the end of the day, he’s the AD. The buck stops with him. The “they didn’t let me do my job” stuff just tells me he’s a yes men who’s afraid to make waves.

Yeah, in the same sentence he mentioned now this is confusing to him as well. I took it as more of a “maybe it happens but probably best not to get your hopes up any more”. Nothing definitive. When he starts getting wind of other candidates, you’ll know it’s done with Brad. I’m moving on. Enough with Brad Stevens. He doesn’t want us, fine. Enjoy the Dunkin, Brad.

That's been reported by reputable IU people other than here though. Otherwise I would agree.

Exactly.  He's got an amazing PR crew and lots of message board stans who tell us how great he is and nothing is his fault. So he HAS to get this hire right

We’ve been through this.  I don’t get why people think a new AD was going to overrule the Chairman of the Board of Trustees and our biggest donor.  They can stop the AD from hiring who he wants and cut off our NIL/donations.  Scott could have made a wave… and they would have ended his career and still hired Woody.

He lived to fight another day and now he has power.  This hire is all on him and he should get all the blame or credit.

Yes you are right! I have to believe i have nothing left! Put me in the looney bin. I will say Chris and others have been right on stuff. I just don't want people chastised for sharing info.
