Unfortunately, the only one publicly campaigning for the job is the dude with facial hair... that would suck hard...

In Scott we trust.

If nominated, I will not run.

If elected...  What is the offer?

I promise to try to get us over that hump.  Defense, great PGs, ball players, good scorers, wings that like to play defense, assists, teamwork, hit 3s, game plans, run faster jump higher...flying to the hoop, they just have to try harder. Mental over physical...will to prepare...banners r us!   It's Indiana!!

Spoiler alert:  Scott and me...we go way back..

That he didn’t think Dusty would sign an extension so early or at all.

Maybe the extra 2.5 million was Dusty's parting gift to UM as a way to say hey sorry for leaving after a year but homes a callin. Obviously knows Indiana will pay and it maybe he takes a little of the top of his contract with IU? Longer years as a way to make it even ? IDK just spitballin bored on a Monday.

Generally have 0 idea for feeling about who they next coach will be, would NOT be shocked by ANYONE at this point which is both scary and exciting at the same time lol

I don’t understand why Scott Drew would leave Baylor for Indiana. Baylor is in a better conference, better facilities, and he’s a legend there. NIL isn’t an issue either at Baylor.

Well stated - that's the counter. So while admittedly these aren't indisputable reasons why he would leave Baylor for IU, these are the reasons:

  1. Indiana is home/familiar family turf.
  2. NIL is not an issue at Baylor, but IU has much better NIL.
  3. He would get a significant salary increase.
  4. His pastor interests in Waco have been established and are sustaining, so he may be looking to have an impact in an unexplored community.
  5. This year is not going especially well and the fanbase interest may be waning some.
  6. Not matter how well he does, Baylor will always be a state where football is king.
  7. After a long tenure at Baylor, he may be looking to rejuvenate and take on a new challenge.

Why do you think their facilities are better?  Gym is newer but only seats 7,000 and the pics of the weight room look ok but IUs was better.  I did not find a practice gym like Cook Hall but they probably have one.

Facilities - Baylor

I doubt any highly accomplished coach leaves his current position solely for money.  Maybe NIL, but mostly it would be because they're not happy where they are or because of extenuating circumstances (Toy Williams leaving KU for his alma mater or coach who's been busted down to a lesser program because his transgressions).

As for Dusty May, it really looks like that ship has sailed.

But who "knows"?   ; - )

OT: Is there a chance we could get more emojis? TOS appears to be running the same board software, but they have a lot.

Busy week coming up, had to give up my seats today in lieu of getting some work done. Anyone at the game, can you tell me the look ok the face of the clown who wears the “Woody” hat and sits in row 2 behind the bench? He guaranteed a win today, clown.

I thought I was the only one who noticed this guy. How much was he paid to wear this hat?

Yup, going to be glued to that one

Maybe not that day.  It’s the first round so teams at the bottom of the conference will be playing each other on espn+.    Bellarmine and Western Georgia more than likely.  @johnsoniu

@Ryno6284

might be the only ones sick enough to be watching with me

Baylor is in a better conference

Baylor is not in the SEC or B1G so a coach on the outside of those 2 conferences might want to jump to the 2 cash cows.   Doesn’t matter if the Big 12 basketball wise is better then the B1G it’s definitely not better financially

An under appreciated really funny element of this is that Drew’s wife supposedly wanted no part of Lexington because she thought the environment was too decadent but she may possibly be down with…..Bloomington.

Haven’t been back in a minute, but that’s not 1 of the selling points I would have anticipated.
