long story short, verbal agreement reached with certain things (higher salary and larger NIL) needing approval by BoT, that was approved via online meetings/docusign apparently and now the contract is in Brad's possession or at least his team of reps

How is an anonymous message board poster going to know the details of when Brad Stevens allegedly plans to sign a contract?

I mean, really... you'd have to be extremely close to the situation to be that granular. Perhaps trolling, perhaps passing on speculation from someone else. The speculation is unsurprising given this is all coming from the IU side (supposedly) ... so from their perspective, things may be all on track ... for now. Last time, things fell off the rails around this part (allegedly). 

We will see if it happens again but speculating about the timing of when the deal will be signed/announced is, I think for the most part, a bunch of hot air. However... Chris's latest post about guarantees is intriguing. We shall see!

Could happen for sure. The team is also for sale so the owners are more worried about getting the highest dollar for the organization.
