Trilly and Rabby effectively have the same sources, the main difference being that Rabby has his name tied to his reporting so he has to be more careful with what he can share. Trilly still keep things close to his chest if requested, but otherwise can be more laissez-faire with his treatment of info. He's definitely a better source at this juncture.

I just don't like discord as a format for message board usage. It's just a cheap way for Trilly to get out of paying to get a website built and domain fees.

Personally like Discord more but that's just me. Just have to treat it like a stream of consciousness rather than a message board.

I use discord for lots of things. I just wish there was a better way to find things buried deep in conversations. Everything's just mashed together.

You’re right the HH collective is shady.  It’s a zero transparency slush fund for those two with no oversight or financial controls — put simply they almost certainly skim from it despite claiming every dollar goes to IU athletes.

If anyone wants to give to NIL please go to Hoosiers Connect for a collective with proper oversight and professional operations.

That is a strong allegation.

Use the from: and in: commands in search box.

Ex: from: (user) in: indiana

Helps a lot..

Hey folks. Peegs refugee here saying hi (got banned for pointing out how shady the HH "collective" is). Been lurking for a couple weeks. Vibes are way better over here.

Well, we have a pretty good band over here.  Oh wait, you said banned!   We won't hold that against you very long but you do have to wear a 'B' on your chest.  Glad to have you move from lurker to poster.

Eric was throwing a little hissy fit about Mgbako the other night after the Purdue game basically saying he hopes the new coach kicks him to the curb and saying hes bad for the program both on and off the court. And they aren't re-upping his deal and he was getting blasted for it LOL was a little cringe for my taste I get they get paid but still a 19 year old kid who is gonna have ups and downs playing college hoops thats just my opinion.

I'm a pretty big Dolson supporter/defender, but he likely got too close with these two.  First off, I hope IU is requiring an audit or review of their collective.  IU is fundamentally associated with them and should confirm their claims are true (all donations to athletes... doubtful) and of course IU should confirm they can deliver on promises to players.  Second, their behavior is net negative for IU athletics.  Some of their podcasts are good, and that's fine.  But there are so many bad X posts, Peegs posts, podcast comments, and instances of bad public behavior that IU shouldn't be associating with them.  I cannot believe Scott let them host an event at Assembly Hall.

The HH can do their thing, it's a free country.  But IU needs to keep them out of the athletic department and be cautious when they include them in our player NIL deals.

I saw that the Lucas Oil game is considered a home game and not a neutral site game. That means that IU controls the tickets like a home game. It's possible IU wanted that for some reason (I think it was Cal but just saying it's possible). It does seem like it would be better to have both home games  in Bloomington, at least to me.

Yep - IU controls ticket distribution for that game.  UK will get an allotment but nowhere near the old half & half arrangement in past years in Indy.  And, IU will get the money from any tickets sold to Kentucky.
