Did you lose the last one?

Just think that the board should stay true to each thread topic.

And no, don’t need to be shown up by some smart azz .

Pretty much everyone on here has come to the conclusion that the Woodson experiment failed and that he needs to be gone.

For months, anyone who posted a different opinion on the FMW thread were told that “ this is the FMW thread. Go post your opinion elsewhere.”

Now, when it’s suggested that the Coach search thread should be limited to posts about the Coach search, and not rehashing the Woodson fiasco, you react like you always have and make a smart azz comment.

Funny how it doesn’t work both ways here.

Not you the former players screaming for an iu guy. I think even guyton and moye were pushing for an iu guy. Wonder how they feel now

I’ve got news for them, that ship has sailed!  They wasted that experiment on Woodson

If Cincy opens Cronin probably goes there

Wholeheartedly doubt that.  Their current coach would be owed $13 million if terminated before April 1st and only drops to $10 million after April 1st.  So if they fire Miller, that's $13 for Miller and $16 million for Cronin's buyouts PLUS Cronin's salary.  Miller's contract is for under $3 million.  Cronin's annual salary at UCLA is $4.1 million and if he leaves it will be for a big pay raise....Cincinnati can't afford to move from Wes Miller to Mick Cronin.  Even if they didn't pay him any more than UCLA is paying him and -- say -- they negotiated the two buyouts down to $10 and $12 - that's $22 million in buyouts + $4 million annual salary for Cronin.  If he signed a 6 year, $25 million contract to come back to Cincy (which isn't realistic, it would have to be more than that) that's $47 million they are sinking into the switch.

IU has much bigger pockets than Cincy.

Is Al Skinner still alive? He had some tough BC teams. Maybe he could be coaxed out of retirement

I was disappointed to find John Chaney passed away a few years back. He maybe took tough a little too far at times…

How would we know if it happened on that day? It’s a Sunday too. Seems weird.

I thought that’s what you stated?  Maybe I misunderstood.  There was a lot of pages and info to sift through

If our current team could execute Chaneys matchup zone we’d be ranked in the top 10. That was one tough coach!

That was Isaac.

Idk why he said the Celtics season ending on March 1st as an GM and then signing on March 2nd. Even though the Celtics have game at Denver on March 2nd? This makes 0 sense to me..but I enjoy it!

This is honestly one of the worst coaching staffs in all of college basketball top to bottom.
Minnesota now has as many wins in conference as Woodson. I bet they don't even have 1/3rd the nil Woodson did.

I hear you, Jersey... between the Buckner crew and Woodson's epic failure as a coach, I am almost out on IU basketball... I have actively rooted for them to lose for the past two seasons...

It would be one thing if Woodson had actually tried to do the job... but he didn't. He phoned in every phase of the job and then called out the fanbase who dared to question his performance. And Buckner continued to enable him at every turn to the detriment of the basketball program ... all because they were buddies and he had the weight to do it.

I pray to the basketball gods that there is a path out of this abyss and that Dolson is able to find it... but the more I look at the situation and all of the tangential items, I get more and more pissed.

True.  And the mismanagement, negligence, and poor decisions really go back to 2000.  I will spare the forum a list of those transgressions.  After a quarter century of this nonsense from IU, it's amazing we have any fans left.

You have seen the disclaimer in this thread right?

Not trying to be a smarta** but please refresh our memory.  There are a sh*t ton pages to sift through to find it or anything else.  This thread is moving at warp speed, lol
