HoosierInParadise Posted February 15 Posted February 15 So now this board is going to Implode because one guy who has been wrong so many times says something about Brownell. Some of you are so gullible and wanting info you will believe anything. I can promise you that Dolson isn't going around telling everybody around campus what his plans are. SMH!!!!!It's not imploding....but it is not talking about Stevens anymore...just like you wanted before. thebigweave, go iu bb and cybergates 3

Top money for a coach/coaches Top NIL money Top fanbase(pro or con) The money to upgrade facilities where needed? We need a homerun -Brownell is far from it If we can’t get this level then you just have to go NFL coach route. Pick the next up and comer - McCollum, Schertz, DaVries and it’ll be not stop 4 year cycles until you hopefully hit. J34 1

But Steven’s wasn’t quoted as saying that. He said he was happy working with the Celtics. None of that has anything to do with the IU job. To me that means the door is still very much open and that was put out as a way to quiet everything down. That's what I said in a previous post, I agree with you. IUguy77 and HoosierInParadise 2
OKHOOSIER Posted February 15 Posted February 15 6 minutes ago, Josh said: What are you all even talking about? How delusional are you?? We're Indiana fuggin University. We run college basketball. I mean, even the rumors of us hiring the GM of the NBA champion seemed real enough that he commented on it. We've got massive NIL, best facilities in the world, most intelligent fans. And you're all trying to hire coaches from tiny schools? They're not like us. Some coach from Iowa State? Where even is that? Drake? That's a Canadian singer. Clemson? Do they even play basketball there?? All I'm saying is we deserve the best. For the first time in my life, having a hot sister is paying off. She attracts rich dudes and this one has connections. Rumors has it that UNC knows that we're on the prowl for a new coach and they know they're not as good as us. They're going to give us their coach. I think his name is Hubie Brown or Davis or something. I'm sure you guys know him. So there you go. Search szn is over. Give it a couple days, I hear Hubie is a big Presidents Day fan so expect the signing on Tuesday. Probably 3:30. Indica or sativa? thebigweave, Josh, johnsoniu and 3 others 4 2

I know it’s his alma mater, but he’s a really good coach and that’s a really bad deal and he’s not going to stay there and get his brains beat in for 15 years because they have no money. HoosierDad14 Posted February 15 Posted February 15 I’m trying to picture a scenario where two former Indiana basketball student managers sit down, one offers the other the HC job and he says no thanks I’d rather stay at Michigan. BlueDevil Posted February 15 Posted February 15 As a guy that watches ACC basketball Clemson is on the short list of teams that I don’t want to play. Brownell is doing pretty good at a shithole program like Clemson. However, I agree with most it’s just not the hire that needs to be made.

I dont see anybody imploding, just bunch of people who hate Brad Brownell. I read what Chris said as it was just a guess from whoever that person was. Not that Scott Dolson said anything about hiring Brad Brownell specifcally. It could have been something like "these are different types of guys I'm looking at: guy who has a lot of experience at a P5 school; Brad Brownell, Buzz Williams. Guys who have had success but not at the highest level; Ben McCollum, etc. As an official member of the Brad Brownell hate club, I am forced to overreact whenever his name is mentioned.
