Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app I think it was meant as a dig at Fred Glass. Glass was given a lot of crap for negotiating contracts with both Wilson and Crean then getting rid of each one very soon after. A lot of people believed that Mr Glass should never have been made the AD.

Plus the place was a dump when I got there in 2012 and by the time I left in 2016 it was entirely different. He deserves credit for that too (as does Dolson I am sure). Not that I am anti-Glass, but the major improvements coincides with increased TV contracts for the Big Ten (including revenue from the BTN). Also the BTN made the non-money sports MUCH more visible. Although I was not super-big on the additions at the time, in some convoluted fashion we may actually owe Rutgers some thanks for some of the improvements...

I am saying Mercer & Moren may have been easier to sign with more money and more visibility for the programs (and more money for Allen). I do not live in Indiana and until the BTN, I would never have been able to see I an IU baseball or women's basketball game on TV. Now they are covered from the Mid-Atlantic through the Midwest. That exposure is valuable. jmsgws 1

Hard to be real disappointed in any of those choices. I mean some people have issues with each but you're going to have that. JSHoosier Posted March 18, 2021 Posted March 18, 2021 I'd be fine with Beard, Oats I want no part of. Musselman is slightly less 'meh' than Enfield.

Just not proven it over a period of time or something else? I mean his buyout makes him one of the least likely imo.Sent from my Pixel 3a XL using Tapatalk

Sitting on more than TEN large* can ease the stress of not working... *yeah, I get it that it's paid out and not a lump sum Evariste Galois 1
