DeVries chatter still feels like a leverage play to me. Especially with G**dman leaving the door open for the mystery candidate so he can avoid being wrong.

For what its worth, WVU AD said in interviews yesterday that he does not think Devries is going anywhere and that they had talked recently about the program.

This is how I feel. DeVries has experience in a major conference and recruiting for one. Has dealt with criticism from the masses. McCollum doesn’t have that experience yet which is definitely a risk. But from all that’s been said it seems as though his X’s and O’s May be better?

Could definitely be wrong. DeVries wouldn't be a terrible hire for IU.

I’m pretty sure all sorts of click and clout chasers are getting caught up in the agent nonsense.  The people who cover IU and CBB the best have filtered this out and so far have seemingly been right in saying no one knows yet.

He just said last night the candidates were McCollum, brownwell but thought he was out and the mystery candidate that might be devries.  Now there appears to be another mystery candidate?
