The out of left field comment is interesting. Because what’s out of left field to people who can’t hit refresh here fast enough is a lot different from fans who just watch TV sports shows. If it is someone who hasn’t been mentioned in this thread, that would truly be way, way out of left field.

It's tom crean. He is returning to save our program once again.

As athletic as Oregon looked in comparison to IU today, I'm watching the Ole Miss vs Arkansas game. These players are a whole different level of athlete.

It's just a reminder of whoever IU chooses as their next coach has to be able to recruit at a really high level. Woody might have had a large NIL warchest, but IU did not put a great athletic lineup on the floor from it.

The type of athletes the SEC schools get wouldn't even consider us right now. We had to overpay the guys we have because our staff was too lazy/incompetent to get anybody else.

I think they our guys were plenty athletic.  I also think they weren’t coached well enough so they had to constantly think, instead of playing free.  We could get more athletic for sure but the only reason we had to play Trey, Leal, and Goode so much was purely basketball intelligence.  Wish we had the ability to play best player.  We just couldn’t.  Half of our team didn’t have elementary basketball intelligence with a coach who can’t teach.  Bad combo

I've felt like that watching the SEC all season.  Even the top teams in the Big Ten like MSU can't hold a candle to the athleticism that Auburn, Alabama, Tennessee, Florida, etc. all have.

That conference looks like a completely different brand of basketball than almost all the rest of college basketball

Trilly is starting to hear some really serious smoke behind McCollum.

This should get things moving in here today lol.

I think Self, like Calipari and some others, benefitted a great deal from under the table payments to get players.  NIL being legal now and bringing the playing field to a more level standard, I believe has hurt him being able to get the best of the best players and winning with them.  Just my personal opinion.

And very strange Algebra scores.
