I used to go to a ton of UE games, often directly behind the opposing team's bench. When I tell you Marshall's wife was....something else. Holy cow. My Dad and I learned words from that lady I didn't even know existed. F'ing and m'fing the officials, opposing fans, and opposing players the entire game.

I remember she made a fool of herself during a nationally televised tournament game one year; people in attendance were convinced she was very inebriated too.

Need someone at the game to go slide in next to where Pam Whitten and Scott Dolson are sitting. She's sitting right in front of him and she's been turned around privately talking to him for much of the first half. Can we get a lip reader over there???

I recall that. Can confidently say that wasn't a one-off. She was a very passionate woman lol

Think she was just trying to keep Andy Katz awake!

I can't believe this wasn't mentioned yesterday. Rabby with a big scoop: Hiring Shrewsberry is not on the table.

Feel free to act shocked.

I can break news like this.

BREAKING: Despite Georgia Tech's halftime lead over Duke, Indiana is NOT expected to pursue Damon Stoudamire as its next head basketball coach.

So here's a question; is Self slowing down? How would we feel about Bill Self? Call me crazy, but I'm leery of him compared to the others on that list. Confident in Few, but IU would be a much bigger job than he's used to doing.

Think Stevens and Donovan would be obvious home runs.

I think Self, like Calipari and some others, benefitted a great deal from under the table payments to get players.  NIL being legal now and bringing the playing field to a more level standard, I believe has hurt him being able to get the best of the best players and winning with them.  Just my personal opinion.

If we lose today, I see no reason to wait till next week or later to announce the new coach. It’s clear this team doesn’t have the chops to accomplish much if they sneak into the NCAA tourney. Let’s just announce the coach (assuming the deal is done) and have something positive to discuss.

If the guy we are hiring is still coaching, we will need to wait regardless.
