CDD is waiting patiently for some big dawgs to enter the portal. If we're gonna spend 10-12 milli on a roster, it isn't going to be a roster full of blue collar former WVU and Drake players. I'm sure CDD has a plan and I can't wait to see how it unfolds..

Mark Pope wasn't hired until  April 12th.  Pat Kelsey wasn't hired until March 28th.  Anyone thinking they had their roster set within three days of the portal opening is full of crap.

I’m not in any hurry. Gotta get the right guys and right level of talent. We don’t even know the staff. If Preston Murphy Is legitimate, I’m sure he provides plenty of connections we’ll need to wait on.

The "3 Guys" podcast did say he had several names he knew of that would be likely targets when they hit the portal. They were referencing a conversation had with him over a month ago. 

I'm wondering if there are any portal agents starting to become power brokers already? Will it be a violation if a coach utilizes NIL to gain favor over other schools with said agents? Pay an agent under the table 1m to get his best pg and center.

Good one:  Adrian Wooley, Kennesaw State guard.  6'3" freshman, 18.8 points, 5.2 rebounds, 3.6 assists.  51/42/77.

Another good small school one:  Marquel Sutton, 6'8" forward, Nebraska-Omaha.  18.9 points, 7.9 rebounds, 1.2 assists.  48/28/74.
