I'd take that comment by Bacot with a grain of salt. Comes off as sour grapes, especially since this guy wasn't even on campus yet.

Maybe referencing some stuff only UNC insiders would know.  But I'll stand by my comment that I don't think you'll see us jump in to his recruitment.

Agreed.

I could easily see Reeves or Hart, but not Wilcher.

I don't think so either based on him wanting lots of minutes as a PG which IU doesn't have available at this time.

I just don't put too much stock into a butthurt Twitter post. It is really a similar post to ones that fans make when recruits go elsewhere. "We didn't want him anyways. He's not that good/has poor work ethic/no motor/etc." For a 5th year senior, Mr. Bacot has some maturing to still do.

I thought TJD taught Bacot last year that he had some growing to do? Lol

Hearing Reeves will be announcing he’s not coming back to UK in the next couple days from some connected to UK. Assuming this cryptic tweet is in relation to the coming news. Michigan is the perceived leader here. Go get em Woody!

There’s more than a little Michigan buzz for Reeves. Apparently he’s a quiet kid and doesn’t want to be the only upperclassman on a team of 18 year olds.

Lots of Michigan talk for Reeves. I thought Reeves might have been our final addition. Maybe we ride with 12.

If Michigan nabs him, it’s a big pick up for them. Were looking like trash, last two additions really raise their ceiling.

Keeps them out of the bottom 4 probably. Still would put Reeves as their #1 and the other guy is basically Race Thompson.

Which is what he should choose in the end and we have several upper classmen

Penn State adds UNC’s DMarco Dunn.

Penn State has made some really impressive transfer portal moves in total.  Stacked quite a bit of athleticism, length, and potential talent.

While I'm not that sold on Penn State's group -- they had to replace everybody and Torvik still rates their talent last in the Big Ten -- Micah Shrewsberry is finding out how hard it will be to recruit basketball players at Notre Dame with NIL in place.  Julian Roper is the only player he has that averaged 20 minutes per game last year (21.5) and he only played 15 games and averaged a tick of 4 points per game at Northwestern.  The only other transfers of note are Kebba Nije (whom I like, but he's a role player at this point) and Tae Davis (who averaged 13 minutes and 3 points at Seton Hall last year).  The rest of the rotation consists of four incoming freshman who are ranked 59, 148, 188, and 195.

Yeah, Notre Dame is whatever. Shrewsberry is a great basketball mind and a very strong coach. But I’m not worried about them. But they will be solid over time.

I’m also not worried about Penn State but I’m impressed with what they’ve done. Torvik will be very wrong on them. No way imo are they last place with that talent. They are fighting in the middle of the pack, I guess if things don’t click maybe bottom third.

Ace Baldwin, Wahab, Puff Johnson, Dunn, Favour Aire,

Paul Mulcahy (Rutgers) enters the portal as a grad transfer.  The 6-7 pass-first guard averaged 8.3 points and 4.9 assists last season and shot 37 percent from 3.

That'd be an interesting pickup...
