My dad and I were talking about this last night but me our troubles started long before Sampson when the university thought holding Knight to a zero tolerance policy was going to work which it didn't had Knight not done what he did with Neil Reid he would've gotten to pick the next coach instead of letting the university decide it for him and the program would've been different than where we are now. I just don't know how different things would've been either had Sampson did what he did forget the argument that what he did is now legal that to me is beside the point and Dakich likely doesn't get a chance to coach. We also had the whole bumper sticker issue too which we also reported.

That would have gotten us Pat Knight as HC

Ok this is getting out of hand...839990853_ScreenShot2023-04-09at1_36_05PM.thumb.png.4412bf1d02fe94be5afbdbe6bbc31bb8.png

I've got a hard time believing DeLoach has decided on IU and hasn't visited yet.

And how many bigs would we need?  If all this guys posts happened we'd had Ware, Reneau, Sparks and DeLoach; different types of players but still there's only so many minutes.

College Football Transfer Portal and College Transfer Portal are the same Twitter account.  It's the same person tweeting and apparently inter-mixing the Twitter handles.   Also note the avatar's are the same.

PSA.  I think the line from Wizard of Oz sums up how you should view any tweets from the above  --  Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain.

Big on making predictions some of which will occasionally prove accurate, i.e. random chance theory.  Those that don't pan out reportedly mysteriously disappear from twitterverse.  I'd take any such predictions with a grain of salt until I saw multiple confirmations from the old standby sources.

This was already called over 24 hours ago by another Twitter account that people dismissed

as I said, it appears a done deal based on instagram. Got to think like a 20 year old

I think that other account also said Bronny James would commit to USC yesterday and it didn't happen.

Very true. I bet that is still accurate and coming soon though.

I do get a feeling he will end up right. Would be interesting to know who tipped him off. That was 3 very specific guys. You could say 2 were a good guess but to call all 3 means he was told something.

my guess is one of the 3 is talking. They would all 3 have hear each others plans and they have all 3 been communicating.

I went and looked and that tweet about James looked like it was deleted.

I'd like to hear Knect is going to Indiana so we know we have a scorer coming in.

We know Ware is announcing soon and IU was his only visit since he canceled the Bama visit after visiting IU.  Ledlum I could see announcing soon if he was really sold, although that's been pretty quiet.  So 2 of 3.

I don't see Deloach announcing soon since he hasn't visited yet, unless soon means over a week.  Not sure he'd be a need with Ware (hypothetically for now), Reneau and Sparks in the fold although he is athletic.

It does seem to me like he's scouring the twitterverse and then throwing out other people's theories they tweeted as his 'sources'.  We've already seen one guy tweet that Ware, Ledlum, and DeLoach were all going to commit to IU and then afterwards the Transfer Portal account tweets them out separately.

That said:

Zagoria is a solid source and said the Ware decision would come Tuesday.  Ware cancelled his visit to Indiana and to our knowledge only visited IU.  The only other possibility I could see would be Arkansas since it's near home and he was recruited by them earlier, but I think if he were in love with Arkansas he would have committed there in the first place.

Ledlum?  That one seems to be pretty tight lipped.  I do expect it comes down to Indiana and St. John's.

DeLoach has a visit scheduled this weekend and had an at home visit from Florida State Thursday.  He had indicated previously that he probably would not decide until late April to early May.  His comments haven't really indicated any preference -- San Diego State has playing time available, Indiana is the basketball 'Mecca', his brother goes to Florida State....his decision likely is going to be based more on the landscape toward the end of April.

I agree it kind of looks like that's what he did, but I do think it's a bit gutsy to tag the players in the tweet the way he did.
