Now that this is over. I will say from last year to this year lots of boosters got the feeling that they didn't care for Archie, thought he was arrogant. Then about three weeks ago, maybe a month I was told if he lost the final 6 games he was done. About that time I was told Dolson had started reaching out to boosters to see if they would willing to put up buyout money. Most said yes but they all wanted to know who he was going to get. Then started to put out feelers to gauge interest. He got a good idea that there would be interest. Last Thursday he met with the athletic board, they wanted Archie gone and their #1 choice was Stevens, this weekend met with trustees. I think it dragged out a little longer than we thought. Scott knew what he was doing the whole time. I will try to answer any questions you have. I don't know that much about the search.

What's your venmo? Need to buy you a beer. haha

I don't want to derail, but I took a leap and pulled up Dakich. Boy is he just filling air space with a whole lot of nothing. I've probably heard "I'm just sayin'..." about 75 times without him actually saying anything.

I'm just sayin'...I'm a fan of the Dakich show. Yes, sometimes he can be arrogant and annoying. I feel for the most part he tells it like it is and how he views it. I'll admit that some of his stuff, he does for the audience

I appreciate you sir for letting me post what I'm hearing and being a part of this awesome board. I stumbled on it, I liked it and I'm never leaving. So thank you

Oh Lordy, likewise.

You’ve earned enough credibility to be completely wrong now and then and still be beloved.

My next Btown road trip beer is on me.

May your place in heaven be reserved..... even though I’m not religious myself.

Not sure where the Friday announcement stuff came from but here are the coaches that I could see being announced before the tournament concludes in no order.

1. Stevens

2. Alford

3. Cheaney

4. Mack

5. Matta

6. Beilein

Cheaney is on the Pacers currently, although I assume it'd be a little easier to break off a contract being an assistant as opposed to Stevens as the HC

Great, I got nothing done earlier and now I have to go home early.  I might get Archied from work today but it'll be worth it

I don't think he will be a candidate but I do know that he only keeps stats for shots taken and rebounds right now during games, so he would probably take an upgrade
