First big test and at times not pretty but a good win. Hope the team learned some things. Some work to do on our handles, getting the ball inbounds, and of course, free throws. Defense looked as good as it has since CAM has been here. Really thought Franklin and Damezi played well for what was asked. I like this team. Fun to watch. When we get to pushing the ball...wow.

They were ranked #3 in the nation on defense by KenPom coming in.  Only teams ranked above them were Virginia and Ohio State.

Just checked as Pom updated his rankings -- even giving up 80 points to us, Florida State still ranked #5 on defense.

Overall, IU has now moved up to #21 on Pom.  25th on offense, 32nd on defense.  And you have to keep in mind that until we get a few more games in, the preseason ratings are slightly used.

That was a really good performance. We had stretches we struggled but I like learning while winning. We have some really solid rotation players if we can get this from Green and Jackson-Davis in a consistent basis.

Really only struggled to open the halves and then around the 12 minute mark in the second.

I don't have the subscription so can't see the prediction, but he has IU at #21 and Wisky at #56.  I'd say when #56 hosts #21, that's probably right around pick 'em.

That’s what I’m thinking. Would love to take that game. As I have said this is not your daddy’s Wisconsin.
