JaybobHoosier Posted July 15, 2019 Posted July 15, 2019 IF we could find someone with IU ties who was an incredibly successful college player; was a lotto NBA pick and long-time NBA veteran; had NBA and college front office experience; had assistant coaching experience in the NBA, with a major college basketball tourney team, and in the NBA G-League; and is by all accounts a fantastic human being... That'd be pretty darn sweet. Keith Smart.....? (I don’t follow much on past players as coaches, but hasn’t he had a ton of NBA experience?Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app mamasa 1 Quote

JaybobHoosier Posted July 15, 2019 Posted July 15, 2019 Lol, I know the implications seem to point to Calbert, just throwing out another option. So Mr. Stuhoo, suck it :) Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app Stuhoo, thebigweave, mdn82 and 1 other 3 1 Quote

8bucks Posted July 15, 2019 Posted July 15, 2019 Guys - don't plaster Chris with pms; just simply look to see which posts he "liked." Between when he posted and you posted there was only one guy mentioned. Which he liked so...Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app Chris007, thebigweave and WayneFleekHoosier 3 Quote

He checks a lot of the boxes like previous assistant coaching experience, recruiting experience, knows Bloomington. My one question is will he and his family put in the time to be great in coaching as he did as a player. Any hints on the other finalists (those not named Cheaney)? :) Quote

My mind immediately went to Todd Leary, but that was because I misread "put in the time" to "do time". Too soon? Chris007, Stuhoo, GloryDays and 6 others 5 4 Quote
