Uspshoosier Posted April 19, 2019 Posted April 19, 2019 In state tuition so wouldn’t be too horrible if that’s the route he’s chooses to go You also lose a year of eligibility. He would be a junior if he went to Penn St. he would be a sophomore at any other school outside the B1GSent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app Class of '66 Old Fart 1 Quote
Honkyman Posted April 19, 2019 Posted April 19, 2019 Penn State actually makes sense for Jake. He wouldn't lose two years eligibility. That is mistaken. RealIU 1 Quote

Popular Post LamarCheeks Posted April 19, 2019 Popular Post Posted April 19, 2019 Just for fun, I went to read some of the Facebook Q&A that Al did yesterday. Here are some of his responses. ... Seems like a real good kid ... Glad we have him ... On what he likes about playing at IU ... Indiana Basketball What more could I like? It's an amazing place and I am super happy to be here. On how much he will miss Morgan ... Indiana Basketball If we had a scale from 1-10, 30. Love that guy. On how the offseason is going ... Indiana Basketball It's going great. I'm in the gym shooting 2-3 times a day. Lifting with Coach Clif 3-4 times a week. On what it's like to play for Archie ... Indiana Basketball It's hard nose. He keeps you accountable during practice and in the game. I really appreciate his coaching style. A teacher wanted advice for her students who wanted to play ball. Indiana Basketball You are a STUDENT athlete. You're a student first so make sure you take of your duties in the classroom so you can do anything on the court. thebigweave, pumpfake, HoosierAloha and 13 others 14 2 Quote

Correct me if I am wrong. Transfers anywhere else, sits a year as normal and comes back a sophomore. Transfers in conference, sits the same year, comes back a Junior. thebigweave and Stuhoo 2 Quote
Brass Cannon Posted April 19, 2019 Posted April 19, 2019 Thought he only lost a year because Ryan was a **** and blocked like 27 schools. Quote

Str8Hoosiers Posted April 19, 2019 Posted April 19, 2019 Coaches have no say any more though right... It is a Class 2 Violation if a Coach tries to stop a transfer. Only Conferences can now set any rules on transferring inter-conference. Quote

IUc2016 Posted April 19, 2019 Posted April 19, 2019 Uthoff never played a game at Wisky and only was allowed to play 3 seasons at Iowa. He lost a year of eligibility for transferring to another B1G school Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile appI could be wrong, probably am. But don’t you only get 5 years to play 4? Absent a waiver from the NCAA to get a 6th. For uthoff he sat out first year at UW. Then sat out a second year at IOWA. That only leaves 3 years left to play. If he played a 4th year at IOWA it would have been 6 years to play 4. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app Quote

Man, if you created an NBA 3 from scratch, that’s what he’d look like. Most talented kid on this roster. With a full year of skill/physical development, assuming he’s good to go, I would expect Hunter to be Conference Freshman of the Year. thebigweave 1 Quote

Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile appProbably why they make it harder to transfer within conference is they know most kids won’t give up a year usually. If he would of transferred outside the conference or the teams Bo blocked since he redshirted his first year he could of immediately played as a redshirt freshman that next year instead of having to sit out he sophomore year as well and lose a year. The more you dig into it the more confusing it becomes. Lol. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app IUc2016 and Str8Hoosiers 2 Quote
