Defense is supposed to be his strength and even the defense isn't impressive, we give up a lot of easy layups/dunks and open looks.

I don’t have a problem with anyone going negative, fans are allowed to do that IMO. It’s been rough for sure but I’ll keep after it and hope the turnaround comes soon. Archie hasn’t just forgotten how to coach. Something isn’t right with the players tho, that’s for sure. I always point to the fact that MOST of this roster was brought in by Crean. At some point young people start to wonder about who or what they are playing for. It could be a bit of what’s happening. You beat NWestern and Michigan somehow this week and we are 14-6 and feeling better again.

Marshall has won consistently everywhere he's been.  Tom Crean has literally never won consistently anywhere.  No, he's not Crean 2.0.

End of first half and start of 2nd were where it was lost. The decision to pull Rob, Juwan, and Romeo for the final 2min of the 1st was baffling to me. We had gotten some thing rolling with JMo and then PU goes on a 6point run so we pull those three and completely give away the last three possessions of the half. Yeah, Rob and Juwan had fouls, I get that, but still it was a complete give up IMO. If anything sub defense for offense. Crap, I just saw that Rob ended the game with the same 2 fouls too. Missed opportunity to get some momentum going into the locker room imo. Then the start of the 2nd happened.

Bennett turned us down. That’s how we arrived at Archie in the first place. This isn’t a better job than UVA anymore. How’s Marshall doing this season without top talent? He’s not the answer and would be a nightmare for the administration to deal with.

When you absolutely just lose, not get screened, Haarms for 3 dunks we got a major malfunction defensively gentlemen!

I didn't want to go young when we needed a coach.  There's a reason.  I said it then if we botched this hire I don't think the program will get back, and each passing game looks more and more like we botched it in a laughable way.

I said the same thing. This is our fourth try at this and if this hire does not work out the returning to elite status will never happen imo. Not looking good so far.

Agree.  Archie needs a hard nosed, in your face guy on the team (Michael Lewis, Scott Skiles, Brian Cardinal type).  We have no one that has shown that personality, in fact we have a lot of laid back guys (not a criticism of them, it's just their natural demeanor).  Maybe Franklin can be that guy, or RP can become one.

All three were on Morgan. His defense is terrible. It always has been.

I still believe in Archie. But this isn’t good right now
