For those of you doubting where things are going, listen to the CAM radio hour with Don Fisher from Monday. If you don't like what he's doing and how he's doing it after listening to that, you might want to find another team to follow! Kidding, but it's quite revealing. He knows what's going on; even jokes about how his dad texts him regarding our horrific free throw shooting. He's calculated and is very clearly letting our guys work through mistakes so we'll be strong in Jan/Feb/Mar. And listening to Davis talk about CAM...these guys are all-in. Try to have patience and a little faith.  It's better than the opposite, and we all know what it feels like to suck in February; RIPCTC.

Yep, one of the quotes I enjoyed was, "I was a good free-throw maker, I realize now i'm not a good free-throw coach" (paraphrasing). he also said he will bring in a free-throw coach. This guy is so NOT FCTC! Such a relief.

To be fair, he said maybe bring in a FT coach not definitively that they would.

Journalist: Crean are missed free throws a concern for you?

FCTC: *Nervously drinking Diet Coke* I need to check the tapes!

Seriously though glad Archie is addressing FT shooting. Its a mental thing most of the time.

I think their “bad”/ indecisive play after the Arkansas game has all been mental. Guys not trusting their shot, not shooting with confidence. Etc. hesitating in making plays.

Luckily we seem to be gaining that confidence back with these close wins. We are playing better now and if we can get some swagger that’ll only help.

Again, on an in-bounds play meant to go to somebody else, the ball ended in the hands of Nicolas Claxton. The 6-foot-10 forward drove the length of the floor before launching an off-balance 14-footer that clanged off the rim at the buzzer. Bulldogs lose.

“We’ve got to learn how to finish a team off,” Crean bemoaned. “We’ve got to learn how to execute better and we certainly have to learn to listen better during timeouts, which has been a problem throughout the entire year. It’s got to get better, and we have to find a way to

Was there a timeout by FCTC before the inbounds, only for the team to do a 3quarter court heave?

I went from not too concerned to absolutely doubtful. It is not just a loss to Nebraska but a series of bad games and then a loss tonight with marginal effort or concern.

Same mistakes happening over and over is my thing. That was Creans issue. Could team might going thru a rough patch but it’s rarely the same things causing the poor play

Could be an NIT team. If Romeo doesn’t get a chance at NCAA........

Kiss your career goodbye Arch.

Just sad.

Do we really expect Glass to fire Archie if we don’t make the tournament? I don’t think he has it in him, and that’s pretty telling of Glass, too. S-o-f-t

If we do not make the tournament with Romeo and Morgan (two of the best players in the B1G), he should absolutely get fired. And Glass should too.
