We are much better than last year. Romeo and Phinisee >>>>>>>>>> Newkirk and Johnson.

I fear the DD injury to be serious and possibly a reinjury. Hope I'm wrong.

Freshman class will be a great foundation class and Hunter/Race didn't even play.

Fwiw I watched our exhibition live last year and was worried. This year looks "different".

Not sure what to make of Durham injury but he was playing a little fast and out of control in his short minutes. We will want him healthy though because he has a niche on this team.

Have to temper tonight's results in light of the level of competition but an awfully lot to like.  We are very deep and won't have to wear our starters out with heavy minutes in the earlier part of the season.  FT shooting has got to improve.  Romeo had a rough first game in shooting and TO's but he did grab 5 reb. and had 4 steals.  His shooting was clearly an aberration.  A lot to like especially with Green, Hunter and Thompson all in street clothes and what they could have contributed.

Am I the only one that thought Romeo was our 3rd best Freshman tonight? 4th if you want to say Forrester. Jake was impressive in his limited minutes.

Not to be a Debbie downer but I’m disappointed I spent $10 to watch that. I know, it’s still early. Im not panicking just yet but we looked bad on both ends and I wasn’t impressed with anyone tonight
