For me it is an absolute given that if Fitzner can effectively defend the post he will play a lot a lot of minutes.

Play him with Morgan and if Fitzner can handle the big, move him to the 4 defensively and let Morgan take the 5.

Fitzner could be an absolute steal. One thing we got a lot of in our offense last year was open looks from 3. Need someone that hits them consistently.

All reasons I think Fitz starts.

Fitz needs to gain at least ten pounds so that his offensive end talents for taking the other team’s big away from the basket are complemented with the ability to defend that big down low.

While true i think our need for 3 pt shooting in the starting lineup is a large enough issue to accept those limitations

Cliff Marshall talking about Jake

This freshman has added 12 lbs of lean mass in less than 1 month of training!  How?

A strategic, 4 day a week lifting plan that emphasizes hypertrophy.

3 square meals + 3 snacks daily. [goal is 6,500 calories from macronutrients]

1 gram of protein per pound of bodyweight.

lolol, look, I'm so excited about the upcoming year. Jake has not put on 12lbs of lean muscle mass in 1 month. That's absolute garbage and not even possible on moderate to high gear (tren, d-bol, test, winstrol). Either the starting recorded metrics were junk or he has simply gained 12 overall pounds.

I do think this S&C staff is great and a relief over the previous hype guy.

This part of the article is why I was against Alford getting the IU job

Since his arrival in 2013, coach Steve Alford has assembled multiple ranked recruiting classes. His 2018 class is ranked third by ESPN, the third consecutive top-five class for UCLA.
Seven Bruins have been drafted in the first round under Alford, yet UCLA has never won a Pac-12 regular-season title or advanced past the Sweet 16. That's why we're hesitant to include UCLA in our early top-25.
